How a 911 Storm inspection actually works
Free, on-site, IICRC-aligned. FLIR thermal imaging + pinless moisture meters + an Xactimate scope your insurance adjuster recognizes. No high-pressure sales, no inflated scope, no surprises.

Step by step
The 7 steps of every inspection
1. You call our 24/7 line
Real human answers within 60 seconds. We confirm your address, the type of damage, and dispatch the nearest IICRC-certified crew immediately.
2. 60-minute arrival
Crew arrives at your Fairfield or Westchester property in under an hour. They introduce themselves, confirm the situation, and explain what they're about to do.
3. Full property assessment
FLIR thermal imaging across affected walls, ceilings, and floors. Pinless moisture meters at every test point. Source identification (where is the water/mold/smoke coming from). Photo documentation of every detail.
4. Show-and-tell walkthrough
Before you sign anything, we walk you through what we found — moisture maps, photos, IICRC water category, the affected square footage. You see exactly what we're seeing.
5. Written Xactimate scope
We write your scope in Xactimate (the same software your insurance adjuster uses). Every line item, every square foot, every step of remediation. Submitted directly to your carrier — and reviewed with you.
6. Insurance coordination
We communicate with your adjuster on your behalf. Supplemental claims for hidden damage discovered mid-job. Direct billing — you pay only your deductible on covered losses.
7. Work begins (or doesn't)
If the scope and timeline work for you, we get started. If not, no pressure — the assessment is free. We'd rather you make the right decision than a fast one.
Inspection equipment
What we bring to every assessment

FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera
Detects temperature differentials caused by moisture behind walls and ceilings — without drilling holes.

Pinless Moisture Meter
Non-invasive moisture detection 1-3 inches into materials. Maps wet zones in seconds.

Extech Pin-Type Meter (24% MC)
Precise % readings at test points. Reading shown: 24% moisture content at a baseboard — wet wall confirmed.

Saturated-Material Detection
Up to 99% MC reading at a saturated HVAC vent — the kind of hidden water meters reveal.

PM2.5 / PM10 Air Quality Meter
Real-time particulate readings. "LVL1 Good" confirms post-remediation air clearance.

IICRC S520 Containment Kit
Mold cases: full containment setup ready to deploy if remediation is needed.

What the Thermal Camera Sees
An actual FLIR capture — the dark plume is a cold, moisture-laden zone on the ceiling, invisible to the eye.

Pinless Reading on Hardwood
Field reading on a hardwood floor with the padding pulled back — trapped moisture confirmed before drying.

Pin-Probe Depth Reading
Pin probes confirm moisture deep in framing and subfloor — 48% MC at this baseboard.
